Overview

Working hours: Full time, 5:00PM - 2:00AM, UTC +03:00, Kyiv time 

 

The main direction of work is video adaptation of commercials for various markets and platforms. The work includes creation of motion graphics, post-production of video footage, editing, resizing and final conversion to various formats.

The company's main pipeline is Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.

Senior Motion Designer at Locaria is responsible for bringing the projects to life, for the visual quality of the deliverables and the ability to freely present the work produced. He should also supervise a team of video designers. 

The Specialist will be working as part of the Locaria team, responsible for creating the video formats for a wide variety of media touch points, social and TV. The specialist must have a high level of the motion design skills. Reporting to a Video Content Manager you will work on the localisation and creation of the videos along with the Producer to manage expectations and deliver projects against timelines. We're looking for someone who is attentive to detail, and who is constantly looking for creative ways to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the videos localisation according to the brief
  • Be able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Be able to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure that the videos meet the requirements of the brief
  • Stick to the schedule and production timings given by the Producer
  • Maintain an accurate summary of progress at the end of the working day

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of work experience as an Motion Designer, After Effects Specialist, 2D Compositing Artist or Creative Editor
  • Experience with showreel
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premier (Medium level)
  • Knowledge of video production process, editing short commercials for social media
  • Motion design skills, editing skills 
  • Tracking, rotoscoping, retouching (Medium level)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to complete tasks within the given time frame

Languages:

 

  • English – Advanced
  • Ukrainian - Native / Advanced
