Overview

We are currently looking for a Regional Content Lead to oversee APAC business development. You will work with a variety of clients from different industries, including luxury, retail, travel, and technology, helping them to create engaging content that resonates with audiences around the world. This role will support the management of new business opportunities, finding leads in the region and working with the delivery teams to present our capabilities to new and potential clients, while supporting with projects management as and when required.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is keen to be part of a team performing to the highest standards and to be interacting with our global wider team, but who is also able and motivated to work autonomously to support Locaria’s development, as well as deliveries during a busy season.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and lead new business opportunities

  • Present our cross-channel services to existing and potential clients

  • Work with the delivery channels to coordinate new business proposals and project management in transcreation and adaptation

  • Prepare and present sales pitches

  • Prepare quotes for new business briefs

  • Support the delivery teams with client meetings and account/project management

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of +5 years as a transcreation/localisation account/project manager

  • Proven experience working in business development/sales, seeking and developing leads and opportunities

  • Translation, linguistic, business or communication degree/qualification 

  • Proven experience of client-facing communication and account management 

  • Experience with CAT tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS, e.g. Plunet) is a plus

  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills 

  • Being a native speaker of one more language is a plus 

  • Ability to work independently, great organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Proactive approach to work – bringing ideas and questions to the team 

  • Passionate about languages and business
