About the role

The Business Affairs Manager at Locaria provides usage rights management services working alongside Producers and being a client service representative.

The Business Affairs Manager will be working as part of the Locaria team, responsible for preparation and negotiation of renewals/buyouts of on-screen talents, music tracks and voice talents, managing the usage rights tracker effectively as well as usage rights agreements.

Reporting to a Team Lead you will lead day-to-day work helping to manage expectations and deliver the requested information/budgets against timelines. We're looking for someone who is proactive, and who is constantly looking for efficient ways to achieve exceptional results; someone who can build lasting relationships at all levels both internally and externally. 

Responsibilities

  • Request the usage rights information from the agents who are 3rd parties
  • Communicate & Negotiate with the agents
  • Prepare the usage rights budgets for the Clients
  • Build strong relations with clients
  • Daily project management of incoming requests
  • Assist Project Managers in usage rights budget preparation
  • Keep track of the usage rights data in the internal usage rights tracker
  • Preparation of the agreements
  • Organize document flow and financial control (Cost estimates, PO's, invoices, etc.)

Required Skills

  • Ideal candidate should have minimum 1 year of project management/account management/producer experience preferably in the Communication industry/Post Production Companies
  • Fluent English: spoken and written
  • Fluent Ukrainian: spoken and written
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office or Google Spreadsheets/ Presentations/ Docs
